

Marcile M. Brewer, age 90, was born in Buffalo, Oklahoma on February 25, 1921, to Arthur and Cora Freeman. She passed away on January 24, 2012, at Hospice Quality Care, Midwest City. She and her husband of 54 years, Bob, established Shady Nook Auto Parts in 1954 and she was an important part of the business even after retirement. Before moving to Shady Nook in 1957, she owned and operated a beauty shop and supported the family until the business could meet their needs. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Marvin and Thad Freeman. She is survived by her sons Jerry Brewer and wife Pat of Shawnee and Wayne Brewer and wife Nancy of Harrah. Her brothers Carl Freeman of Enid and twin Merle Freeman of Oklahoma City, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grand child, all of whom she loved completely and unconditionally. She was “Grandma” not only to her own grandchildren but to many of their friends as well. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and her church family. She was a long time member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Marcile loved to cook, but she loved having everyone enjoy her cooking even more. Three generations of family and friends loved her fried chicken and chocolate chip cookies. Funeral services will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel at 2pm on Friday, January 27, 2012, interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
