Margaret Ruth Kincheloe passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by her children. Margaret was born on September 14, 1929, in Oklahoma City, OK to Ira and Ruth Naylor. Margaret has two siblings, her sister Sherry Wietelman of El Reno, OK, and her brother Fred Wietelman of Edmond, OK. Margaret graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City, where she met the love of her life, Clarence Lee Kincheloe, Sr. They were married on September 21, 1946, in Jacksonville, Florida. After World War II they returned to Oklahoma and Margaret began her career at Tinker Air Force Base as a Civil Service Secretary. She retired in 1974.
Some of the things she loved most included painting, her cats, traveling in the RV, but most of all her family and friends. She loved 60’s music and the color mauve. Margaret was very active in many different activities which included Square Dance Clubs, and the MWC Art Guild. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for more than 60 years; faith was very important to her.
Margaret was a very loving person and was always ready to help someone in need. She loved to laugh, especially at the antics of her grandchildren and cats. She taught her children and grandchildren all about life preparing them for what was to come.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband Clarence “Pete” Kincheloe.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Ruth Ann and son-in-law Gary Vasseur and son, Lee and daughter-in-law Rakell Kincheloe.
