Martha Jo Marsh

Martha Jo Marsh passed away Saturday, January 22 with her beloved children Jay and Brenda by her side. She was born February 19, 1937 in Harrah, Oklahoma to Lora Winnie Rudder and Chester C. Witten. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1976 and her Psychoanalytic Certificate from the Colorado Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in Denver, Colorado in 1991. She had a private practice in Oklahoma City where she practiced Psychotherapy since 1977 and Psychoanalysis since 1991.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Donald Wayne Marsh, and her parents. She is survived by her son, Dirk Marsh Shaw & wife, Sandi; son, Jay Shaw; daughter, Brenda Simon & husband Jon; grandchildren, David Shaw & wife, Cristin, Jennifer Friesen & husband, Philip, Shelby Jaye Hughes & husband, Blake, Wiley Simon and BB Simon; step-grandchild, Megan Gann; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Shaw and Gabriel Friesen and Catherine Shaw; and a host of loving family and friends.

Private graveside services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
