Marvin E. Baker was born October 30, 1925 in Piedmont, OK and passed away on Dec 7, 2013 in Oklahoma City, OK. Marvin loved to walk at the State Fair Stroll during the years 1994 – 2001, where he won the race 7 years in a row. Marvin was in the Army Service Forces Transportation Corp and the Air Force Reserves. He served in WWII from 1943- 1946 and in the Reserves from 1949 – 1952. Marvin is preceded in death by his loving wife, Beatrice of 50 + years, his father Fred and Mother Gillie, 6 brothers; Orvil, Dude, Amon, Leslie, Glenn, and Roy. Marvin is survived by many nieces and nephews.
