

Mary Elizabeth Ford was born on November 13, 1950, and entered eternal life on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age of 74. She was a long-time resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, and graduated from Midwest City High School in 1969. Many might not know that while Mary was in school, she was in the Girl Scouts- an organization she loved dearly.
Mary was the daughter of the late Neal Allen Smith and Shirley June Harris. She was a devoted wife to Darrel Gene Ford for an incredible 53 years.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and her beloved fur babies, Sophie and Sassy.
She is survived by her husband, Darrel Ford; her son, Sean Michael Ford of Oklahoma City; her daughter, Kimberly Azcueta, and her husband, Matthew Azcueta, of Yukon, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her grandchildren Allek Ford, Brady Ford, and Victoria Ford of Newcastle, Oklahoma, as well as Chandler Ford, AJ Ford, Kyle Azcueta, two great-grandchildren, and her fur babies Haze, Bennie, and Brixton. Mary also leaves behind many cherished friends.
Family was Mary’s greatest treasure. She was a devoted wife and daughter; to all, she was known as Mimi—a name she never took lightly. Mimi was a constant source of strength, love, and wisdom, guiding her family with affection and education. From the first hello, anyone who came into her life knew that they had met someone truly special, and she welcomed everyone with open arms. Mimi lived her life with generosity, humor, and love, always placing her family first. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
