Matthew Stephen Hale

Matthew Stephen Hale born September 30, 2004 in Oklahoma City, OK to Misty Hale passed away May 4, 2010 of a Blood Disorder Cancer at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. Matthew’s favorite things were swimming at the beach, dolphins, and turtles and playing with his transformers.

He is survived by his Mother, Misty Hale and Eric Taylor of Norman, his Dad and very special friend, Grandpa Don Hale of Bethany, Poppi Bernard and Meme Maureen Ellis of Oklahoma City, Grandparents Mike and Jerri Taylor of Kentucky, Uncle Elvis Hale of Oklahoma City, Uncle Brian Taylor and his wife April of Florida, Aunt Kristie Hale of Bethany, and Cousins Tanner Hale and Ann Marie Hale of Oklahoma City.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Oklahoma Children’s Hospital and the Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders in Children . Matthew will be missed by his family, friends and classmates at Washington Elementary School in Norman.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow.
