

Merilyn Jane England passed away in Oklahoma City on August 21st, 2014. She was born in Kingfisher Oklahoma on January 26th, 1927 to Thomas Merrill and Freda Margaret Andrews. She married Harold Ray England on June 1st, 1946 and they settled down in Oklahoma City to raise their family. Merilyn was always complimented on being an excellent waitress and enjoyed working at Hooters Craft Store as an Associate. She held many other positions throughout her life, for employment and taking care of her family. She loved to garden, sew, craft and collect things and was a member of the Olivet choir for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Merrill and Freda, husband Harold, daughter Margaret Willey and son James W. England, U.S. Army, Ret. She is survived by her brothers Duanne Andrews and wife Darle and J. Wendell Andrews and wife Joan, daughter Dorothy Roddey and husband John, son-in-law Jerry Willey, daughter-in-law Susan England, daughter Judy Didcoct and husband Stephen, and her son Gordon England, her grandchildren Jeremy Smith and wife Marissa, Charles England and wife Phoebe, James England and wife Tamra, Jennifer Brantley and husband Scott, Jerry Willey, Amy Grady and husband David, Kathryn Wilson and husband Craig, great grandchildren Cody Magana and wife Alisa, Courtney Magana, Vanessa, Brandon, Courtney and Trevor England, Sergio, Jose, Miguel and Moses Brantley, Clara, Emily and Nicholas Willey, Jacob, Hannah, Aaron, Abigail, Jeremiah, Bryson, Ava, Kinsey and Brylee Grady and Mason and Janie Wilson and great great grandchild Colton Magana. Anytime Merilyn was with her family she would always tell everyone around her, with pride, to “look at what i started”.
