Mickey Fritz

Mickey Don Fritz, 64 year-old resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away March 26, 2017 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born November 24, 1952 in Elk City, Oklahoma, he was the son of John Ferdinand Fritz and Ruth Dale (Baker) Fritz. Mickey was a longtime employee of Continental/United Airline working in ground traffic control. He was an avid golfer; loved fishing; woodworking; and just visiting with everyone. He was a true gentleman who loved helping people and would do anything he could to help others. Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Fritz; 3 sisters, and 1 brother. Survivors include his wife Rosemary Salazar; 1 daughter, Shana and her husband Keith Klemmer of Minnesota; 2 step-daughters, Emma and her husband James Pullen; and Sarah and her husband Tom Ovaitt of The Woodlands, TX; 3 grandchildren, Owen; Oliver; and Evie; 10 step-grandchildren; 1 brother, Jerry Fritz of Choctaw, OK; 5 sisters, Allie Mae Hyde of Pink, OK: Betty Briody of Harrah, OK; Johnnie Sams of Pink, OK; Sylvia Day of Choctaw, OK; and Vickie Davis of OKC, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
