

Monica Louise Lessley, 62, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died on June 1st, 2025, at her sister and brother-in-law’s home in Midwest City, Oklahoma, where she had lived for about 2 ½ months. Monica Lessley was born April 28, 1963, in Ft. Knox, Kentucky, to Daniel and Barbara (Wallace) Lessley. She attended John Marshall High School and Warren Central High School. She completed one year of business college. She spent many years working in management for McDonalds and many years as a 911 dispatcher for the Marion County Sheriff’s Department in Indianapolis, Indiana. She enjoyed working on craft projects, playing Bingo, and playing Steal ‘Em. She had a loving, generous, strong and determined spirit. She is survived by her brothers, Danny Lessley of Lawrence, Indiana, and Eddie Lessley of Greenwood, Indiana, and her sister, Michelle and her husband Mark Harden of Midwest City, Oklahoma, her nephews, Daniel and his spouse, Amanda, Ryan, Jesse, along with one niece, Kayla and her spouse, Cody, and several great- nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Barbara Lessley. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. A visitation for Monica will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 9:00 AM at New Life Baptist Church, 8900 S Peebly Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 74857. A burial will occur Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, 192nd Ave NE, Oklahoma City, OK 74857.
