Mostafa Radmard was a caring husband, father, and grandfather who fiercely loved his family and found his greatest joy in spending time with them. He peacefully passed away at the age of 73 on February 22, 2021 in his home in Oklahoma City surrounded by loved ones.
Mostafa was very ambitious when he was younger and left his home country of Iran to study chemical engineering in the United States. During his studies, he found his first love and raised four children of whom he was very proud. He is preceded by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. He is survived by his devoted wife of six years, four children, two grandchildren, and six siblings.
Mostafa structured his life around family, soccer, and building up the Iranian American community in Oklahoma. He was actively involved in and relished the education of children at the Oklahoma Farsi School. His Islamic faith and devotion to God played an ardent role in his life. He eminently loved cooking for family and friends and always had dinner ready on the table before soccer practice. Some of his children’s fondest memories are walking into the house and smelling the delicious food of their father’s culture, which Mostafa referred to as “the food of life.”
His life will be honored with a ceremony of family and close friends February 24, 2021.
