Nellie was born December 21, 1931 to Thomas Benjamin and Lottie Victoria (Spell) Craven. She passed away July 18, 2019 in Oklahoma City. Nellie became a security specialist for Tinker Air Force Base, and worked there for many years. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, embroidery, cooking, and gardening. Nellie made a great deal of beautiful things over the years, which she gifted to family and friends. She also liked getting out to go shopping. She will be remembered for always taking care of and tending to her family and friends.
Nellie is survived by her daughter, Victoria and husband Kenneth Eagles of Choctaw, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren, Misty; Sammie; Laura; Michael; K.C.; Matthew; Dennis; Brittany; and Ethan; many great-grandchildren; brother, T.M. Craven of North Carolina; brother, Bill Craven of Georgia; sister, Brownie Bettinger and sister, Deana Wheelborg, both of California; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a special niece, Donna Burdick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lottie Craven; husband, Kenneth Charles Jones; son, Jerry Jones; son, Donald Jones; and brother, Benny Craven.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141.
