Pamela was born July 27, 1951, the second child of Ben and Dorthy Coffman.
Pamela grew up in Del City, Ok. She graduated from Del City High School. She worked
for the Post Office in downtown Oklahoma City. Pamela had two children. Leon
Grossman, who lives in Chicago, Illinois and Kathryn Doyle, who lives in Nokomis,
Florida. Pamela was very smart, quick witted, and an avid reader and fisherman.
Pamela was best known for her unapologetic belief in the Lord, Jesus Christ. She
started and ended her day with prayer. Then one day she met Calvin Newby. A love
affair that lasted 34 years. Her last words to him were “I love you.”
Pamela is survived by her beloved husband, Calvin Newby, Son, Leon Grossman, and
daughter Kathryn Doyle. She is also survived by her sister, Ellen Nance, Brother,
Steven Coffman, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
A memorial service for Pamela will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Victory Church, 4300 N MacArthur Blvd, Warr Acres, OK 73122.
