

Phillip Lee Hunt, 67, of Midwest City, OK, died on Sunday January 2, 2011 at the OU Medical Center due in injuries suffered in an auto accident. Phillip was an Air Force veteran and long-time employee of the OK State Department of Education. Phillip was born in Chillicothe, MO, son of Will and Bernice Hunt. He was a graduate of Central High School in Kansas City and earned a degree in Industrial Design from the Kansas City Art Institute. During his decade as an Air Force officer, he served in the Philippines, Korea, Vietnam, Germany, and many other locations worldwide. He was preceded in death by his beloved companion, Ursula Pilato, and both his parents. He is survived by his brother, Greg Hunt of Cordova TN; Greg’s wife Vernice; four nieces, Ann Sharon Morton; April Ann Parkerson; Dia Vanessa Gonzales; and Leah Danielle Hunt; two grand nieces and six grand nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, at Wickline United Methodist Church, 417 Mid America Blvd., Midwest City, OK. Internment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
