Richard Eldon Witt

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Delmar Gene Witt and Betty Lou (Nunley) Witt. He graduated from Tipton High School in 1975. He retired in Moore with his wife in 2018, where they began taking care of their 3 youngest grandkids during the day. Before that, he was a water superintendent for the town of Tipton.

He enjoyed fishing, playing music, spending time with family, and watching Wheel of Fortune with his wife. His favorite thing as of late was entertaining his grandkids. He will be remembered for being a supportive and loving family man.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Witt; daughters, Rebecca and husband, David Traynor and Crystal and husband, Darrius Reid. His grandchildren, Jude, Liam, Niko, JoJo, and Riyah. His siblings David and wife, Janice Witt, Sharon Pike, Pam and husband, Tony Haston, Patricia and husband, Calvin Flood, and Deanna Witt, numerous nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Betty Witt, grandparents and great grandparents.

A come and go celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7,2026 starting at 3:00pm at the Senior Citizen Center, 100 E. Main St, Tipton, Oklahoma. Please come and reminisce with the family on the Life of Ricky.
