Roger was in born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Melvin Hays and Imogene Ely on Feb 28th, 1964. He worked as a florist at Capital Hill Florist in South Oklahoma City. Although he never had any children of his own, he was the fun uncle or “funcle” to his many nieces and nephews. Oftentimes taking them to white water bay in the summers. He enjoyed being a kid just as much as he loved seeing the joy on the kids faces. But, make no mistake he also loved teasing and picking on them just as well. He is proceeded in death by both biological parents, step father Ernie Lee Hand and baby sister Michele Martin. He is survived by Older sister Karen McDonald and brother Johnny Hays both of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and younger sister Melissa Wickersham and husband Rodney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sister Tina Wade of Moore, Oklahoma and sister Shelly Moore.
