Ronald Felton McNeill was born on October 12, 1944 in Dodge City, Kansas. He grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Northwest Classen High School. He went on to attend 2 years at UCO. Ron worked as a soda jerk at his grandfather’s pharmacy. Then for 38 years, Ron worked for Western Electric/Lucent Technology.
Ron and Ellen met through mutual friends and they were married. They went on to raise two wonderful boys, Jason and Justin. Ron was a wonderful Christian man and he loved to hunt and fish. He left this world in a very short time on January 22, 2023.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Ellen; his boys Jason and wife Laurie and Justin and wife Angie. He has six wonderful grandkids Lindsey and husband Cole, Mackensey, Myles, Logan, Cody and Rylie and great grandson Cooper.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 4 pm-8 pm. A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2023 at OKC First Church of the Nazarene, 4400 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.
