Beloved mother and grandmother, Rosa Hernandez, gained her wings on January 7, 2023. She was born on January 3, 1950 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was the daughter of Pedro and Maria del Refugio Desormaux. She graduated high school in Mexico and graduated from Rose State College in Oklahoma with her nursing degree. Rosa worked in the ICU and Recovery. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed being a mother, working in the medical field, and loved to travel. She will be remembered for her determination, love for family, and being protective over loved ones. She is survived by her sons: Oswald and Enrique Hernandez; her granddaughters, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Maria del refugio Desormaux; beloved husband, Alfredo Hernandez; Son, Alfredo Jr., Hernandez; Granddaughter, Jessica Hernandez, and great-granddaughter, Chloe Hernandez. The memorial service will be January 14th,10AM-5PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services South Chapel, 7720 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73159. Reception dinner from 5PM-8PM at the Stone Brook Event Center, 9101 S. Robinson Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73139.
