Rosemary Eilene Stem

Born August 16, 1929, passed away September 16, 2025 and on her 75th wedding anniversary to join her husband Bob who proceeded her in death 2 months prior. Rosemary and Bob lived at 1717 S W 17 for 68 years. She was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church.

They have a daughter Cyndy (Mike) Peterson and son Larry Stem. Their grandkids are Jayson (Laurie) Flynn, Casey Flynn, Andy Flynn, Brandy (Brian) Rowe and Christy Taylor. Great grandkids are Karson and Payton Flynn, Jayce and Ella Flynn and Justin and Ava Rowe.

Rosemary graduated from Central High and Comptometer School in 1946. She went on to work at Kraft Foods, the Telephone Company and the last 20 retiring from IRS.

For 26 years they enjoyed the cabin at Fort Cobb Lake, boating and water skiing.Then they bought the HiLo trailer and traveled the US having the family come along on many of those trips. They became accomplished Polka dancers while spending winters in South Texas and headlined many shows.

Family, especially the grandkids, brought them much joy!

Rosemary was a social butterfly and never met a stranger! She loved needlepoint, gardening, the front picture window, the cafeteria, cooking with Bob and Jan’s exercise class with friends!

Rosemary and Bob did nearly everything together, they enjoyed each other’s company and loved reminiscing about the old times.

Rosemary, Mom, Nee, MamaRose will be missed but she will not be forgotten! You’re back with Bob to celebrate your 75th!

A visitation for Rosemary will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A burial will occur Friday, September 19, 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:40 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
