Steve Vaughan went to be with his Lord on February 12, 2011, while surrounded by family and lifelong friends. Steve was born on July 2, 1950 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was President of Mid-Continent Title and Leasing where he worked as a Land-man for many years. Steve possessed a passion for his Lord, his family and friends, his Blue Water Yacht and his Oklahoma Sooners. Steve was loved by many family, friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father Leonard Vaughan, mother Evelyn Vaughan, brother(s) Guy and Kenneth. He is mourned by his wife Debbie Vaughan, step-mother Phyllis Vaughan, brother Paul Vaughan, lifelong friend Joe Simpson, daughter Heather Vaughan, son Chris Vaughan, step-children Mark, Tim and Jeff Holden, grandchildren Chandler, David, Sierra, Cheyenne, Bryson, Gracie, Sutter, Ava, Lilla, Afton and Kambyr. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
