Tempie Geraldine Curry

Tempie Geraldine Curry was born on April 12th, 1942 in Chunky, Mississippi to Linnie and Willie Fairchild. Tempie passed away on February 15th, 2022 at her home in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Tempie was preceded in death by three brothers, Bubba, Buck and Bobby; three sisters, Myrtice, Effie, and Janet; her parents; and the love of her life, her husband Bob. Tempie is survived by her sister, Anita; her sister, Lois and husband Wendel; her sister-in-law, Sara; her children, Robert and Donna; and her grandchildren, Nikolaus and Baylee Sue. Tempie and Bob got married on June 3rd, 1960. Tempie was known to friends and family as "Jerie". and was loved by everyone. Anyone who knew her, said she made a big impact in their life. Tempie's favorite things were the Dallas Cowboys, OU Football, playing slots on her phone, cooking, baking, spending time with her family and friends, and her grand-dog Jasmine. "Nana" and Jasmine were two peas in a pod.

Tempie's memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2022 at the Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
