

Terri Jean Crutchfield Wells of Oklahoma City went to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, September 10, 2011. She passed away peacefully with family by her side. Terri was born on August 9, 1961 to Don R. and Eudora Jeanne Crutchfield in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
A graduate of Northeast High School, Terri was active in the band. After high school, she attended the University of Central Oklahoma. The majority of her career was spent working in human resources at Trinity Industries. She also worked for K&R Coal Company, Howard Brothers Florists, and Complete Care.
An active member of the American Business Women’s Association’s Tu’Ya Chapter for more than two decades, Terri held every office, served on numerous committees, was selected as the chapter’s Woman of the Year in 1998, as well as serving on the ABWA Area Council. She was also involved in a local chapter of the Jaycees.
Terri blessed many with her friendship, including six women she went from kindergarten through high school with, who were life-long friends. She had an adventurous spirit and believed in working to improve herself personally and professionally. Her hobbies included participating in seminars, genealogy, antiquing, and attending arts and crafts fairs.
She is survived by her mother, Jeanne Crutchfield; brother and sister-in-law, Stacy and Keri Crutchfield; nieces, Taylor, Kathryn and Emily; and numerous loving family members. Terri was preceded in death by her father, Don Crutchfield and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK.
Terri always put others before herself. She was a kind and loving person, whose life was cut too short by cancer. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.
