Among his favorite artists were Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Tool, Todd Rundgren, the Rolling Stones, Restless Heart, The Who, Phil Collins, Nine Inch Nails, and Chevelle. Old-school Saturday Night Live and the humor of his loved ones never failed to make him laugh. Those who knew Thom will remember him as kind, patient, and generous with both his time and talents. He passed on these qualities to others, making him a wonderful teacher and mentor. Intelligent, down-to-earth, and devoted to his family, Thom enjoyed unwinding, undertaking various projects, and doting on his granddaughters.
He took great pride in building his dream house and contributing to work on the State Capitol building. Thom was also a dedicated member of the Laborers Union and the Society of the Crown.
