Thomas “Pete” Peters, 65-year-old resident of Jones, Oklahoma, passed away February 10, 2011 at his home. Born November 23, 1945 in West Monroe, Louisiana, he was the son of Shelby and Martha Hope. Pete was a truck driver for most of his life. He loved horses, dogs, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Jeremy and Thomas Peters. Survivors include his wife Aida Avalos Peters of the home; 1 son, Alan and his wife Sarah Sisbarro of Hutto, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 1 sister Elizabeth Gerold of Blanchard, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with Pastor Steve Lopp of Jones First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jones, Oklahoma with services under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
