Tommye Darlene West

Tommye West, 62, passed away on April 19, 2026. She was born on July 8, 1963, to Ila and Thomas Thrasher. Tommye was a big part of her family, a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and proud great grandma whose world revolved around those she loved. She cherished every moment spent with them, and her love for them was deep, constant, and unconditional. She found comfort and happiness in life's simple things, getting lost in a good book, watching her favorite shows, enjoying a trip to the movies, or going down to Sulphur. But more than anything, she loved being surrounded by family, creating memories that will be held close forever. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin West, whom she now joins again and granddaughter Elizabeth Sanders. She is survived by her children: Misty Sanders, Edwin West Jr., William West, and Matthew West. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Joseph Sanders, Jaylin Sanders, Joshua Sanders, Adalynn Brown, Willow West, Elaina West, Austin West, Aiden West, as well as her great grandson Matthew Sanders. Tommye's love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family. Her laughter, her warmth, and the way she made those around her feel loved will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer with us, the bond she created with her family will carry on for generations. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
