I love you auntie. I’m going to miss my good morning text if I didn’t get one from anyone else you sent me one <3 your laugh was contagious and you always had the tea. I’ll see you later it’s never goodbye.

To Shawn, Yalonda & Jessie, grandchildren & great grandchildren. I love you all and I am sorry for your loss. Thats how you know you are rich in blessings, great grandmother status. She loved you all by her actions and stories she shared of you. 
To my mother, Michelle I am sorry for your loss. From being her "nurse Sally" & overprotective big sister, she knew the love you had for her and you showed it. 
To Aunt Nay, I am sorry for your loss. You are the bomb.com. From the activities, being the banker, and overprotective lil sister, you were there every step.
To Brian and Sheree, I am sorry for your loss. Though far away, you checked in at the right times.
To Mario, Wendell, Sherry and Tiffany, I am sorry for your loss. Yall kept her entertained by including her in your lives in OKC.
To Tiaunia, I am sorrry for your loss. To me, you both shared the same free spirit.
Robert will miss whatever requests you would come up with rather its the TV, internet, or computer. Destiny will miss the morning texts inquiring her and Zion. Carlos will miss the did you get your ensures inquires. Laney inquiries consisted of when is the next performance. Khari said it best when she said she was beautiful and loved to smile. On my last visit, she shared with me that she was in pain but she still managed to talk, sit up so I can comb her hair, squeeze my hand, chuckle, and SMILE. 
I will miss long conversations, esp those that started with HUMP, UM, a little chuckle, and a welll... Cooking whatever she requested. Watching TV shows together - started with Jerry Springer ended with my 600 pound life. 
Auntie, your fierce but funny personality, stood on business about business, a hustler with a heart gold, contagious laugh, all around good person will be greatly missed in the Jordan household. I'll see you next lifetime. #foreverloved #yellowroses4life #2manymemories2share 💛Wana aka niecey

I truly appreciate all of the wonderful and treasured moments with Vera as when watching her grandson Deontae graduate from high school. Vera has always been a spirited and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her laughter, her honesty and inspiration will always be felt throughout her family and friend’s incredible hearts. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🌹🌹💕🌷🌸

Today is an unanticipated day for me to have notification of my cousin Linnie's passing.  It is difficult to wrap my thoughts around her no longer being with us.  Perhaps just one of many assumptions that family, in the same age ranges, will always be here for many years to come.  The real truth is that these thoughts are not a guarantee that any one of us, in like fashion, will awake to see the next day.   Many desire to live a long, healthy, prosperous life. This is not a bad desire, and it's quite normal to have.  Now we must face this truth, that one of our own is at rest.  Now, I can no longer say what's on my mind with her. I can't laugh, cry, dream, or share any other thought for that matter.  This to, for many of us, becomes a final missed opportunity.  

Now,  it's time to re-think  our reality.   It's time to choose a better method.   It's time to communicate that greater clarity,  which gives opportunity of heartfelt sharing.  I mean the kind of sharing that leaves no doubt that you truly care.  The sharing that says I love you, I miss you, you're important to me, and I'm here for you.  The kind of sharing that laughs, hugs, teaches, creates, and supports even when no words are spoken.  Now, for the rest of us still living, it's high time to make right the wrongs, and chart out that better path.  Let it never be felt, said, or experienced that another missed opportunity has become our reality because of some poor excuse.  

My heart goes out to the rest of the family, my cousins and all of the little, and not so little, family members of Linnie that I've not had the pleasure of meeting.  For the remaining cousins, and the other branches of this family tree, please know that you are loved beyond measure.  I continue to hold precious memories of the days gone by.  You have made life's experiences a delight, and a memory worth holding on to. You are in my prayers and God's care.
