Vernon Kenneth Wall

Vernon Kenneth Wall, 86, of OKC, OK went to be with the Lord Jesus Thursday, April 23, 2020. Vernon was born October 11, 1933 in Cox City, OK, to Robert Lee and Mary Stella Wall. Vernon was such a joy to be around! His laughter would lift your soul. He graduated from MWC High School in 1951 and from OCU in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech & Drama. Vernon married Vivian Sills in 1953. They had 3 children (Patty, Bridgette and Kenny). Vernon married Jill Dalton and they had a son, Phillip. Vernon is survived by his wife Betty Wall of 44 years, daughter Debbie Cantrell, Patty Wall Dugan, Bridgette Wall Norris & husband Lee Norris; sons Kenny Lee Wall, Phillip Wall and wife Janice Smith Wall; 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren: siblings, and many other family members and friends. Vernon served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for OPUBCO for 25 years and then retired as a postal carrier. He faithfully served at Harvest Hills Baptist Church for about 40 years. Small graveside service/burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Memorial Service to follow at later date.
