Our brother and uncle, Mark was born on March 23, 1957 to parents Wilburn and Margaret Singer. Mark graduated from Deer Creek High school in 1975 and Central State University in 1979. The majority of Mark’s career was in retail sales. His first sales job was for Morris (Hoot) Gibson at McCall’s Men’s Store in Edmond. Hoot trained him well! From there he worked for Macy’s, Foley’s, Dillard’s and Sam’s Club. Mark traveled the world. His favorite spot was Hawaii. Mark was also part owner of an award winning quarter horse. As you can see his life was a “life well lived”.
Mark is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Bob Bowman, Linda and Pat Keefe, nephew Bart and great nephews Bryce, Griffin, and Jaxson. Mark leaves behind many, many dear friends. Many thanks to Dr. Charles Hollen and his nurses Jamie and Linda, Victoria and her staff at Caring Hearts Hospice and special friend Max Paty.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mark’s memory to the American Leadership Foundation, Inc. (In support of Oklahoma Boys State) at PO Box 658, Kingfisher, OK 73750. We love you Mark, “Rest in Peace with the Lord”
