Wayne Edwin Hornbeek, 79, loving husband, father and friend to many passed away on February 5, 2013 in Oklahoma City. Born on July 12, 1933 in Seminole, OK, he met his wife and graduated from Northeast High School in 1951 in OKC. Born to Otis and Amye Clarice Yeager on an oil lease in the depression, he was the second of 4 sons. He loved his family and friends dearly. He was the new and used truck sales manager for whoever owned the GMC Truck franchise in OKC for 28 years. He was widowed to his wife Teresa Rosmary since October 2012, and is survived by two brothers, Larry Ray of Davis, CA and Ronald Lee of Edmond, OK, his daughter, Teresa Lynn Bruce of Edmond OK; and his two sons; David Wayne, of Edmond and Richard Edwin of OKC; all are, or have been, married with 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Village United Methodist Church, Friday, February 8, 2013 at 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions in his name should be made to: Village United Methodist Church, 2501 W.
