William D. McClary passed away June, 28, 2017 at the age of 92. William was a military man, retiring from the Navy as a lieutenant Commander. After his retirement, he was the Principal at Western Oaks Elementary School for several years and then served as the Chief Administrator for the Putnam City Schools until his 2nd retirement. He was a member of Putnam City United Methodist Church, a family man, and a wonderful father and sailor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, daughter, Maryanne Stoorza and 10 siblings. William is survived by 2 sons, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grand children.
The family requests that instead of flowers please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in William's name.
Services will be July 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Guardian West Chapel.
