There was a time at our old home in Nottingham when I couldn't afford lawn service. I made the comment on how many weeds we had and Andrew said "What are you talking about mom! We are the luckiest family in the world. Look at all the 4 leaf clovers and flowers!" He always had a way to help us look on the bright side!

I got to know Andrew back in High school while running the school store during lunch hour. He had the unique ability to make me smile and laugh even on bad days, and I’ll cherish all our conversations about the stock market and trade. A while later at KU I ran into him in the dorms and we talked briefly — which I never could have imagined it would be the last time I saw him. May you rest well and in peace, Andrew.

Andrew and I ate lunch together every day in third grade. He was one of the funniest guys I’d ever met! We would make up the craziest stories and laugh all through lunch.

William and I were on the phone working on a homework assignment in elementary school, talking on our home phones, and Andrew wanted to talk to my brother, Nick. So instead of William and I working on our assignment, Nick and Andrew talked on the phone.
