Ashley was born March 13, 1987. She was the oldest of seven children. She went on many adventures in her lifetime. She went on the family trips to Panama City Beach each year. She would always keep the drive lively and enjoy road trips. Her view was out of a lawn chair on the balcony over the beach listening to the waves. She was a beach bum and could sit in the water all day if you let her. Ashley loved the view from her chair on top of a mountain feeling the snow in the middle of July. She has seen the lights of Vegas and the coasts of Texas. Ashley loved road trips and had the time of her life seeing the world.
You could find her always listening to her favorite TV shows of Investigation and Criminal Justice to the News and Weather. Ashley was always informed on how life was going in the world when days kept her inside. She loved listening to music including Patsy Cline, Elvis, and Johnny Cash, She would chime in with her rattle along to any beat!
Ashley also loved all things shiny and bright! She would go to sleep having a disco party every night. She had a great sense of humor. She thought playing jokes on her siblings was hilarious! She would enjoy waking up everyone in the house when she was awake and to hear the giggles of her nephews, as well as their tickles. Ashley had a love for the many animals that all her siblings had. She loved cuddles from “Mister” the kitty the most.
Ashley is proceeded in death by her grandparents Steve Cox, John Lynch, Ike and Thelma White and her younger brother Cameron Ball.
Ashley is survived by her Mother, Stephanie Cox and Timothy Razo of Olathe, father Joseph and Sandra Ball of Spring Hill, sister Lauren Ball of Leavenworth, brother Tyler and Madi of Wellsville, brother Mitchell and Sara of Wellsville, sisters Madyson and Lilliana of Olathe. Step Brothers Austin and Chase Carl. She had two nephews that she loved dearly, Blake Forsyth and Waylon Ball.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Interment in Spring Hill Cemetery Spring Hill, Kansas. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. one hour prior to the chapel service at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to a "Celebration of Life" honoring the life of Ashley Lynn Ball. The reception will take place at the Spring Hill Masonic Lodge #56 403 W. South St. Spring Hill, Kansas immediately following the committal service.
