Carol lived a life filled with creativity, care, hard work, and quiet joy. She was known for the beautiful things she created with her hands and her heart. She enjoyed sewing, tending her garden, and preparing meals that brought comfort and togetherness to those she loved. Carol formed many treasured friendships through her volunteer work and while playing Mahjong. Alongside her husband, she dedicated countless hours to running a local lawn and garden business. Her home was a place of warmth, shaped by her generous spirit and the simple pleasures she delighted in sharing.
Carol is survived by her two children, Tamitha Ayres (Mike) and Mark Moyer (Mary); four grandchildren, Jessica Wintermote (Aaron), Kaitlin Hale (James), Briggs Moyer, and Esme Moyer; her brother, Robert Jacobs; and her sister, Kay Lanham (Mike). She cherished each of them deeply and took great pride in the family she nurtured.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, at 10:00 a.m. at McGilley and Frye Funeral Home in Olathe, Kansas, followed by graveside at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Olathe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; HopeCancerResources.org (Northwest Arkansas); or Victory in the Valley (Wichita, Kansas).
She will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle presence, and the love she wove into every part of her life.
