Guyanne Michaelle Kinney Briley

Guyanne Michaelle Briley, 66, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at home on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, loving grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to everyone she met.

Guyanne was born on December 15, 1948 in Breese, Illinois to Guy L. and Georgia N. (Peppercorn) Kinney. She attended Carlyle High School and worked in nutritional care at Olathe Medical Center for the past 18 years.

Guyanne is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Donna Kinney, paternal grandparents, Guy “Red” Kinney Sr. and Nona Kinney along with her two cats “Opie” and “Corona”.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert “Bobby” Mullins and Brian Briley both of Olathe, Kansas. Left behind to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Holly Mullins, Taylor Mullins Preston Mullins and soon to be grandchild, Emmory Guyanne Briley due to arrive in March; great granddaughter, Leah Ohlson; Four brothers, Gary Kinney of Shawnee, Kansas, Greg Kinney and his wife Lori of Littleton, Colorado, Kelly Kinney of Olathe, Kansas, Brett Kinney and his wife Cathy of Olathe, Kansas; five sisters, Gayle Correll of Gardner, Kansas, Deb Kreie and her husband Greg of Grandview, Missouri, Denise Dickens and her husband Miles of Belton, Missouri, Shelly Owen of Olathe, Kansas and Carmel Kuckelman and her husband John of Shawnee, Kansas and her bonus dad, “Daddy Bill”. She will be sadly missed by her two other family members her cats, “Charlie” and “Susie”.

Guyanne was cremated according to her wishes. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday February 10, 2015 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula St. Olathe, Kansas 66061. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
