Harley David Jackson Jr., 63, of Olathe, Kansas passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 19, 2021. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he knew.
Harley was born on October 3, 1957 in Marshall, Missouri to Harley David Sr. and Betty Lou (Adams) Jackson. He attended and graduated from Topeka High School. He enjoyed watching football, fishing and all types of music. He dedicated himself to working and teaching his passion of cars. Harley enjoyed spending time with his family. Nothing gave him more pleasure in life than the time he spent with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed.
Harley is preceded in death by his parents Harley Sr. and Betty Jackson, and his sister Stephanie Moss. He is survived by his children Sheria D. Martin and her husband Frank Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas, Tamika Robinson of Olathe, Kansas, David Antwan Jackson of Topeka, Kansas and the mother of his children Tamara Jackson. Left behind to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Cedric Martin Jr. (Yessenia), Jaquae Martin, Jadin Robinson, Michael Martin, Davion Jackson, Ryanna Martin, Sharaine Powell, Jayln Robinson, Breonna and Mariah, three great grandchildren Amaree Martin, Jadia Martin and Armoni Robinson, brothers Clarence Jackson of Topeka, Kansas, Denise Moss of Kansas City, Missouri, Jerome Moss of Kansas City, Missouri, Dwayne Moss of Lawrence, Kansas, Denise Moss of Kansas City, Missouri, David Jackson (Paula) of Columbia, Missouri, sister’s Diane Lett of Wichita, Kansas, Patsy Jackson of Wichita, Kansas, Barbara Jackson of Lawrence, Kansas, Denise Moss of Kansas City, Missouri, Dorene Brown Independence, Missouri, Dianna Jackson of Columbia, Missouri and Denise Bradford of Shawnee, Kansas. Harley also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews family and friends.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
