Hank proudly served in the United States Navy. Following his service, he built a life defined by faithfulness, generosity, and thoughtfulness. Hank met the love of his life, Maureen Belle Louisa, in Chicago. They were married in May of 1972 and shared a wonderful marriage of 53 years.
Hank and Maureen lived in Chicago for several years before work took them to Kansas City, St. Louis, and Minneapolis. They eventually settled back in Kansas City, where Hank continued his career as a facilities manager at several hospitals, concluding his professional life with 13 years of service at the University of Kansas.
A devoted sports fan, Hank especially loved Ohio State football and KU basketball. He and Maureen were proud season ticket holders for KU basketball and greatly enjoyed their trips to Lawrence—sharing dinners together before attending the games.
Hank is survived by his loving wife, Maureen; his two sons, Patrick (Stephanie) Louisa and Ryan Louisa; and his cherished grandsons, Gianni (Leah) and Carmine.
