Joel "Lunchboxx" Patrick Koger

Joel Patrick “Lunchboxx” Koger, 63, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on December 29, 2018 at his home in his sleep. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12th from 12 – 1 pm at the American Legion Post 153, 410 E. Dennis, Olathe, KS. A Celebration of Life will follow visitation starting at 1:00 pm.

Joel graduated from Cedar Falls High School, class of 74. He was an Army Combat Engineer from 1975-1978. Joel graduated from The Hawkeye Technical Institute, class of 84 and retired from the City of Olathe after 30 years of service as a Civil Engineer. Joel was a lifelong Vikings fan and motorcycle enthusiast.

Joel was preceded in death by his father Richard Bennett Koger and brother John Michael Koger.

He is survived by his mother Jane Koger, three sons; Nicholas J. Koger, Mitchell Koger, Kriston Koger, their mother Lisa Koger and one grandson Easton Koger.
