Mary Aileen Facio, 73, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at Evergreen Community of Johnson County Nursing Home on Saturday, October 12, 2019. She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met.
Mary was born on August 18, 1946 in Belen, New Mexico to Masadonia (Maisie) Sanchez-Lozano. She attended and graduated from Espanola High School. She worked as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) for many years before retiring in New Mexico. She was a dedicated member of Bella Vista Baptist Church. Involving herself in many organizations. She lived at Evergreen Communities for nine years. She enjoyed her family and especially the time she spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother, Masadonia (Maisie) Sanchez-Lozano, her brother, Ricardo “Richard” Espiritu and her grandson, David Maya Jr. Survivors include her children, Georgina Maya, George Maya, David Maya, Michelle Armijo and Ruth Herrada and her husband Ricky of Olathe, Kansas. Left behind to cherish her memory are her fifteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her brother, Theodore Espiritu and his wife Elizabeth. She will be sadly missed.
“Celebration of Life” Friday, October 18th at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Community of Johnson County 1187 South Sunset Drive Olathe, Kansas. A private family Inurnment will take place in Olathe Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
