Nathaniel Ethan Landis-Holden, 17, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023. He was born on January 25, 2006, in Merriam, Kansas to Lewis Wayne Holden Jr, Amber June Landis and big brother Damien Fraser.
“Nathan” as he was fondly known by his family and friends was a Junior at Mill Creek Campus and was studying for his Welding Certification at Olathe Advanced Technical Center (OATC).
Nathan, our sweet boy, wanted nothing more than to see people smile and be included. He entered this life with so much compassion for others and cared for people in the purest way, accepting them for who they are. He extended himself to those around him to make them smile and provide them with what he could to brighten their day.
Nathan loved the beach, vacations, swimming, video games, family game night, mini golf, and animals. He had a passion for history and was fascinated with Roman and Medieval Times. One ambition he had was to work and participate at the Renaissance Festival.
We’ll always treasure the brief time we had with you.
His maternal grandfather, Laurence (Larry) Landis who passed away in 2009, precedes Nathan in death. He is survived by his parents, Lewis Wayne Holden Jr, and Amber June Landis, brother, Damien Fraser of Olathe, Kansas, maternal grandmother, Suzanne Landis of Olathe, Kansas, paternal grandparents Monica and Tim Fuentes of Kansas City, Missouri and his paternal great grandparents Steven and Delores Kitchens, aunts, Teresa Adams and her husband Charlie of Peculiar, Missouri, Adrienne Campbell and her husband Keith of Sherwood, Oregon his uncle Edward (Lance) Landis of Olathe, Kansas and his great aunt Judi Landis of Olathe, Kansas. Left behind to cherish his memory are his cousins, Jacqueline Wurtz, Charles Adams, Chloe Adams, Yesenia Quintero, Marlowe Campbell, and Mathias Quintero. Nathan also leaves behind his pet rabbit “Pepper” and the adopted neighborhood cat “Buddy Kitty”.
