

Pearl Mae Stout of Mission, Kansas, passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born on January 21, 1940, in Nevada, Missouri. She grew up in Independence, Kansas where she resided in a Children's Home. House Parents, Graceson and Imogene Mitchell took her under their wing and provided a loving family for her, she called them Mom and Dad.
She worked as a mother, babysitter to many, cleaned houses, her speciality “Pearl Clean” that if you know you know! She ran a construction cleaning business with her late husband, Robert E. Stout. Later in life she worked at Wellsville Nursing Home and led the Housekeeping Department.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Stout, biological Mom, Eva Koster, her adoptive Dad, Graceson Mitchell, brothers, Bob Koster and Robert Marquet,her in-laws Charles and Violet Stout and brother-in-laws Ranny Stout and Paul Stout.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Stout and grandchildren, Nathan Strentz, Braden Strentz, Jonathan Strentz and Raegan Strentz, her son, Gary Stout (Amy). Gary had one child, Lauren Stout, and three grandchildren. Together Gary and Amy had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her adopted Mom, Imogene Mitchell and brother Steve Mitchell, her sister-in-laws Pearl Anne Stout and Margaret Stout, and her brothers Charles Shirk ( Hazel), Harry Shirk (Norma) and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
We will miss her big heart that she showed love and care to all!
And fondly her baking abilities! No one could make Fudge or Sugar Cookies like her! Her ability to iron anything to a crisp form and her Pearl Clean that you are blessed if you know.
The family would like to thank Phoenix Hospice care for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life with details still pending. Interment will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery Olathe, KS, alongside her late husband, Robert Edward Stout.

Pearl May Stout is also survived by her grandkids Therese Watkins, Caitlin Watkins-Stout, Makenlee Stout, Serenity Stout, Joey Watkins, Charlie Watkins and Blake Hanson and great grandkids, Jakobe Stephen’s, Tristan Holifield, Koa Hanson, Aceden Hanson.
Pearl's nickname was Shorty, known for her OCD cleaning. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and grew in her older years to love Tiny, Amy’s chihuahua.
