

Ronald R. Warman, Jr. died at his home Tuesday, June 6, 2011. He was born April 9, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri. Ron Jr. was a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. Ron was an artist and a poet, with a tremendous passion to put his thoughts and feelings on paper. He loved sharing his artwork and poetry with family and friends.
He was a loving, giving, and compassionate soul. Ron was a member of the Johnson County mental health community and a member of Pathway to Hope. He served as a facilitator, survivor counselor, and active volunteer for PTH.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Warman.
He leaves behind his father, Ron Warman, Sr., stepmother Edna Warman, three sisters Connie Boettcher, Karen Dugan, and Kathleen Warman, two stepsisters, three stepbrothers, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews and his cat Launa.
A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 a.m., McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 East Loula, Olathe, Kansas.We ask that donations be made in lieu of flowers to Habitat for Humanity, Ron’s favorite charity that faithfully donated to every month, and Pathway to Hope.Offer condolences at www.McGilley-Frye.com
