
He was born on May 17, 1939 in a farmhouse in Rohwer, Arkansas to his mother and father, Ethel Ingle and Marshall Puckett. He was the oldest son of six siblings, Don and Jerry Puckett; his brothers and his sisters, Joyce Self, Maxine Carpenter and his only surviving sibling, Barbara Marsh of New Jersey. He is survived by his wife and helpmate of 41 years, Patsy Puckett of Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas; his son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Jennifer Puckett of Olathe, Kansas; his daughter Debbie Puckett and partner Jeanine Ferro of Kansas City, Missouri and his daughter Christy Puckett and her partner, Bill Reames of Searcy, Arkansas. Tom is also survived by three grandsons, Jason Puckett, Jake Puckett and his wife Laura, Joe Puckett; a grandaughter, Felicia Sanders and her husband, Chris and three great grandchildren, Maruquis, Natalie and Carter. He was also close to his brother and sisters-in-law, Blaine Marsh, Carol and Cindy Puckett and a host of much loved nieces and nephews.
He retired from Arkansas Lime and was a carpenter by trade. He was always a hard worker, a good husband, father, grandfather and a fine man.
Visitation will be from 4-6 pm, Friday, February 18, at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 6pm.
