Annette was proceeded in death by her husband Howard E. McDaniel and Stepson Howard (Gene) McDaniel. Annette was married to Howard on April 25, 1975 in Caldwell, Idaho.
Annette grew up on a farm in Dickenson County, Kansas, north of Chapman where she graduated from Chapman high school in 1955. She attended Stormont Vail nursing school (Topeka) for a time before completing her teaching certificate at Kansas State University. Annette taught for a time in New Mexico, and worked as bookkeeper and tax preparer.
She was a member of Southwest Community Church, serving in supporting missions, writing inspirational newsletters, and preparing weekly programs. Anyone who knew Annette, will remember her for her faithful and steadfast commitment to the Lord. She was an avid reader and author with many of her writings published over the years. She enjoyed painting and loved to play all sorts of games, especially Words with Friends and Rummikub.
Annette is survived by her stepdaughter Tamie (Andy) Mead of Arizona. grandchildren: Cameron McDaniel (Idaho), Holly Hensley and Jenna Erenberg (Arizona), great grandchildren: Cason Miller, Lily Donohoe (Arizona) and Zachary McDaniel (Idaho), brothers Mike (Shirley) Chestnut (Colorado) and Ralph (Fay) Chestnut (Texas) and many extended families.
The Celebration of Life was held on Saturday January 11th at McGilley and Frye Funeral Home located at 105 E. Loula Olathe, Kansas.
