Amelia Joan Chisholm

Amelia J. Chisholm, 86, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Pine Brook Care Center in Manalapan. Born in Chicago, Amelia had lived in East Brunswick before moving to Old Bridge in 1966. She was a professor of biology at Jersey City State College in Jersey City for 25 years retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Ecological Society of America, a member of St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge, and a active member of their choir. Amelia is survived by her husband, Ronald Chisholm; her daughter, Judith Chisholm-Langan; her son, Daniel Chisholm; and her granddaughters, Alayna Langan & Hayley Chisholm. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 10:30am at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment will follow to Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
