Clara Simonetti

Clara Simonetti, 80, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she moved to Old Bridge 21 years ago. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and cooking. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, in 2008, her parents, Vincent & Maria Mattera, and her brother, Pasquale Mattera. She is survived by her daughters, Anna DiGangi and her husband, John, and Rosemarie Gutowski and her husband, Robert; her grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle, Sean, Claire, & Jillian; her sister, Josephine Romano, her brothers, Matthew & John Mattera, and her sister in law, Claire Mattera. Visitation will be on Friday, February 18, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, February 19 at 10am from St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Interment will follow to Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn.
