

Dieter M. Kuegler, 80, of Monroe Township died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Germany he came to the US in 1956 and settled in New York City. Dieter later moved to Bedminster where he resided for 47 years before moving to Monroe Township last year.
Dieter was a Carpenter and worked with Epstein’s in Morristown for over 30 years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oldwick for many years. Dieter traveled to 45 of the 50 states, as well as Germany and other countries throughout the world.
Dieter is predeceased by his wife of “44” years Margot “Krichel” Kuegler (2007) as well as his sisters Christina Grave and Rita Kuegler. He is survived by his daughters Michelle (and Fernando) Medina and Betina (and Sean) Carroll; his brother Werner Kuegler and sister Rosemarie Bohme. Also surviving are his adored grandchildren Erik, John, Isabel and Klara.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, September 19, 2014 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 US Hwy 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857 with a Funeral Prayer Service at 7:30 pm officiated by Pastor Mark Summer of Zion Lutheran Church. At the direction of the family, cremation will be private.
