James Magner, 66, of Freehold Twp., and formerly of Old Bridge for most of his life, passed away peacefully on Monday at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold. He was in sales for over 35 years. He loved his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his sons, James Magner & his wife, Jean, of Lincroft, and Jeff Magner & his wife, Sharon, of Bridgewater, and his grandchildren, Ryan, Brendan, Johnny, & Molly. Also surviving are his former wife of 24 years, Linda Magner, and sisters, Geraldine Fox, of Amityville, L.I., Maureen Caporuscio, of Sayville, L.I., and a brother, Michael Magner, of New Orleans, LA. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Route 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 9, at 11am at the funeral home. Committal will be private.
