Joan M. Radigan

Joan M. Radigan, 71, of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in the Bronx, NY, Joan lived in Hazlet prior to moving to Atlantic Highlands in 2006. She was a nurse for Woodbridge Developmental Center, Woodbridge, for 21 years retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; she enjoyed cruises and traveling, lunch with her friends, and spending time with family. Joan was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1988, and her sisters, Ellen Short & Carol Tozzi. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lovely, her son and daughter in law, John Jr. & Penny Radigan, and her daughter, Theresa Radigan; her grandchildren, Brittany Lovely, John Radigan III, Adam Lovely, Rebecca Radigan, Elizabeth Radigan, & Casey Radigan; and her sisters, Marianne Prater & Evelyn Rake. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ. Cremation will be private.
