Marie Rose Cannone

Marie Rose Cannone, 71, of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital surrounded by family. She was a Secretary for the I.B.T. Joint Council 16 of the Teamsters, New York, NY. for over 15 years, retiring in 2007. She served the Teamsters as a Secretary for a total of 40 years. She loved to travel the world and loved shows in the city. She was a very loving person to all who knew her. Born in Manhattan, she resided there moving to Old Bridge in 1974.

She is predeceased by her father, the late Vincent Cannone in 1989. Marie is survived by her mother, Anita Cannone and several cousins.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 20 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 US Hwy 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Thursday, at 10:30am from St. Ambrose RC Church, Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge. Committal will follow at the Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island.
