Michael L. Ramirez, 86, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in New York, NY, Michael had lived in Queens, before moving to Old Bridge in 1985. He was a postal worker for the United States Postal Service in New York City for over 35 years retiring in 1991. He enjoyed dominoes, golf, music, and cooking. Michael is survived by his wife, Lillian Ramirez; his son, Michael Ramirez; his daughter, Nicole Danielle Gardere; his granddaughter, Mia; and his sister, Mary Carlarco. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 1-4pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
