Robert S. Kellett Sr., 80, of Old Bridge passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. He is a US Marine Corp veteran having served in Korea from 1951-1955. He was a Police Officer for the Old Bridge Police Department for 30 years retiring in 1994. A member of the Train Collectors Association and the N.R.A. he was also a member of the Local 11 Iron Workers Union, a founding member of the Madison Park Destroyers Football Team and as a hobby built stock cars.
Born in Newark, he resided in Old Bridge most of his life. He is predeceased by his daughter the late Theresa Feeney and is survived by his children, Debbie Kellett, Robert Kellett, Jr., Mark Kellett, James Kellett, and Kristen Kellett. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ronnie, Erin, Jennifer, and Tom.
